Using the Right Toys Tools for the Job
Another TV spot for the South Plains Food Bank! This one emphasized the need for food and funds for families who might not have a Thanksgiving meal. The sliding motion was captured by using a 3 foot motorized slider that is able to repeat the same movement over and over. It’s one of our favorite toys, I mean tools.
Texas Boys Ranch
Cinematic Eye Candy
We were commissioned by the Texas Boys Ranch to produce 4 “lifestyle” videos for their 2016 Telethon. These video pieces were designed to help the viewer get to know the Texas Boys Ranch and lead them to want to get involved financially. The natural scenery at the ranch provided cinematic eye candy that when tied together with a interesting music track and voice-over came together into a video that we’re proud of.
VCL Symposium Highlights
Capturing the Spirit
What better way to express what an event was like better than creating a highlight video? We did our best to capture the spirit of the Volunteer Center’s 2016 Symposium and edit it so the viewer feels like they were actually there. Great sound bites, smiling faces and 4K video were the key ingredients for this video.
Chancellor & Mrs. Robert Duncan PSA
Making the Best of Available Light
Shooting outside in weather that is often unpredictable is a challenge. An even bigger challenge is shooting in less than ideal light. The sun was almost directly overhead which means we had to work hard to soften the light as much as possible to produce a flattering image of the on-camera talent. Speaking of talent, the chancellor and his wife were a pleasure to work with. We do our best to make shoots such as these as easy as possible by utilizing a teleprompter.
