Also, I will be trying my hardest to blog more. It’s hard for a video guy to blog sometimes because it takes a lot to get a video edited, rendered, exported, converted and uploaded. Maybe I should take up photography so I can easily post pictures

This video might seem a little random unless you know me and my family. My wife Alison’s little sister Katie plays (or played) for Trinity Christian’s Varsity team this year. So, I had the opportunity to put together a little highlight video of their year. The great thing about these videos is that there were not many expectations and limits to what I could do. I love having free reign to create whatever I want. I’ve got one more sports highlights in the works so keep your eye out for that one soon.
Paradigm – A Different Look
We recently had the opportunity to have Paradigm at Texas Tech’s Allen theater. This provided an unique experience since it was not within the church’s walls.
The media ministry plus volunteers spent the day packing up equipment, moving, setting up and “running the show”. It was a lot of work but I think everyone enjoyed the experience and how well the night turned out.
The famous Pearl Merchant Band led worship and the speaker was Bruce Venable.
This footage was shot on my Sony EX-1 and looked so great I didn’t have to do a thing to it in post besides slow it down a tad.
Alison – Bridal Elegance
Here is my beautiful bride. She was a trooper going on this shoot. She had to deal with misquotes galore! We found some pretty cool locations to shoot at including a field full of red, orange and green as you’ll see. The light was great and we had an amazing sunset to work with.
Note to guys: Yes she is hott and yes she is taken

Me and my wife’s entertainment
Me and my wife have 2 Boxers. That’s actually how we met a little over a year ago. I had a Boxer who was about 2 years old and Alison had just gotten her boxer puppy. If you know anything about Boxers you know how sweet these dogs are. They are not the smartest nor the most athletic dogs, nor are they very good for hunting, but they are sweet.. and funny. I guess they get bored in the backyard at times and have found ways to keep themselves entertained. I thought Luci (Alison’s dog) was just crazy when I first saw her doing what you are about to see. But alas, she was just entertaining herself. Riley (my dog), poor thing is just dumb and sweet. Enjoy!
The Justin Cofield Band
The Justin Cofield Band is one of my all time favorite bands. They led worship at Paradigm before heading to Austin, TX. They came to Lubbock earlier this year to play a CD release party and asked me to tag along with my camera. Here’s a little clip of the JCB:
Commercial Business Demo
I have decided to pursue some more commercial business as of late. Although I have produced several commercials over the years it has not been on the top of my to-do list. I have been hesitant to call myself a “wedding videographer” as it would hold be back from expanding my influences and skills. Here is a little demo I have put together to reflect some of the work I’ve done over the years. You’ll notice there is nothing about weddings in this demo. I’ve got a demo in the works just for wedding videography that’ll be sure to make you cry!
