My first point and shoot

With summer vacation right around the corner I decided I needed to get a personal, small, easy to use video camera. It’s amazing how small and advanced these little cameras are these days. I was narrowing down between a Sony and Canon little HD camera which recorded on flash media. Before purchasing I decided to look around a little further. I then came across a class of point-and-shoot cameras that I was simply amazed by. After reading review after review and seeing photo and video examples I decided to go with this little jewel:

Canonsx200 is

It’s a point-and-shoot that also records 720p HD video. And let me just tell you how stinkin’ amazed I was at the quality of the video. I was just about ready to spend $1,200 on a video camera until I found this guy for $350. There are a few downsides like not being able to zoom and single clip record time limited to 30 mins. But for what I’ll be using it for it’s perfect. Here are a couple videos I shot yesterday just to show you what I mean. Be prepared to be amazed. The first one is from different scenarios and the second was from some weather clips I shot last night. I didn’t effect these at all, straight out of the camera.
